The Careers in Manufacturing Roadshow & Expo at the University of Bridgeport is happening on Wednesday, November 12!

We need more manufacturers to exhibit to inspire the over 800 students! It’s going to be a great event.

We provide the table, tablecloth, chairs and lunch, the Manufacturers bring the inspiration. It’s a WIN/WIN.

Morning: Inspire Future Talent (9 AM – 12 PM) Connect with over 850 local middle and high school students through hands-on demos and activities. Schools already registered from the following towns/cities include Ansonia, Bethel, Branford, Bridgeport, Derby, Danbury, Monroe, New Fairfield, Norwalk, Stratford, Trumbull and Woodbridge.

Afternoon: Meet Job Seekers (3 PM – 6 PM) Engage with job seekers and college students interested in internships, apprenticeships, and full-time manufacturing roles.

Midday Bonus (12 PM – 3 PM) Full-day participants enjoy complimentary lunch, workspace access, and optional tours of UB’s IET Lab, Welding, and Robotics areas.

We’re also holding the SWCMP Regional Sector Partnership Meeting for Manufacturing Leaders from 12:30–2:30 PM.
