John Traynor, CIO, People's United Bank, will speak about our Local, State, and National economy including an outlook for 2021.
John S. Traynor is an Executive Vice President and the Chief Investment Officer at People's United Advisors. As Chief Investment Officer, John directs the overall investment process and committees for the firm. He also serves as the chief spokesman for the firm?s investment outlook through regular strategy briefings. John appears regularly on CNBC, Nightly Business Report, and Fox Business Network, as well as being quoted in the New York Times and Wall Street Journal. He has been with the firm since 2011.
Prior to joining People?s United, John served as Director of Investment Strategy and Alternative Investments at Hawthorn, a $22 billion family office in the PNC Financial Services Group.
John holds a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in finance from Villanova University. Active in the community, he serves on the Board of the Council of Churches of Greater Bridgeport, is a member of the Professional Advisors Council for the Fairfield County Community Foundation, and serves as the Chairman of OARS.
